New Beginnings at Roseacre

New Beginnings at Roseacre

Oakford Homes is proud to announce the first completions at Roseacre, an exclusive development of just eight luxury houses in the heart of Banstead.

For one couple, the choice to move to Roseacre marks the start of a new chapter. Having lived in Banstead for 30 years, Tracy and Jeff Hart found themselves at a crossroads last summer when both of their children left home. Their previous home felt too large, so they began searching for somewhere new.

"We started looking around initially at other new builds, but nothing felt quite right," Tracy explained. "Then a friend mentioned Roseacre, and that’s when we discovered this new Oakford Homes development which is tucked away but still near the village centre. It was still a building site at the time and nothing had been released for sale yet, but we knew right away that this was where we wanted to be."

Tracy & Jeff were instantly drawn to one of the three-bedroom houses in the development, which stood out due to its innovative design, although they didn’t realise at the time that it was going to be the show house for Roseacre.

The couple stayed in constant communication with the estate agents, Jerry and Michelle from Easton, who the Harts describe as "absolutely fantastic." Their persistence paid off when Oakford Homes eventually agreed to sell the show home to them in advance of its planned release.

Their confidence was boosted by the high-quality workmanship of construction, as Tracy explains: "My husband is a bricklayer, so he looked carefully at the quality of what was being built, and you could see the high standards of materials and workmanship.

"We thought the design of the whole road is lovely, and it’s only eight houses. Inside, the layout is great with a decent-sized hallway and a separate kitchen diner to the lounge which we liked. The high quality of materials used was great across both the interior and exterior. For us, it’s about quality rather than space as we wanted somewhere easier to manage."

The attention to detail and commitment to quality have been key highlights of their experience. Oakford Homes and their selling agents, Eastons, have also been praised for their exceptional customer service. "We had a lot of questions but Jerry & Michelle always got us an answer quickly. We had been worried because of past experiences with estate agents but Eastons have been exceptional."

The process of selling the Harts' previous home, which they’d lived in for 19 years, went smoothly. The sale and legal completion were finalised in just nine weeks, ready for another young family to enjoy. Tracy added, “Oakford Homes have been brilliant, and it’s given us confidence that if there are any little things that need doing, they’ll put them right.”

For Tracy and Jeff, moving to Roseacre is not just about downsizing but also about enhancing their quality of life. “We’ll be nearer to Banstead village at Roseacre so we can walk to Marks & Spencer or Waitrose in a matter of minutes. The house has a detached garage and a good-sized driveway for when our son and daughter come and visit.”

Tracy & Jeff's experience at Roseacre is a testament to the dedication and vision that Oakford Homes brings to every project. As they prepare to move into their new home, they're looking forward to a bright future.

There are only three homes now remaining at Roseacre. Home 6 is a spacious 3-bedroom home priced at £875,000 and ready to move into. Home 2, a 5-bedroom home with an extensive top-floor principal bedroom suite, is priced at £1,425,000 and Home 3 is the final 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home.
